But, not like the last one, the 'South Easter' was absolutely howling all day, so the choppers were out:
By this morning, we couldn't see any smoke, but as the wind was blowing away from us, that doesn't meant it wasn't still burning over the ridge!
Pretty scary stuff when you're up close, which we were for a bit (no photo's), and it makes me wonder what kind of hell has been going on in Oz recently.
