Drove to Hermanus this morning, and on the way there saw a snake (probably a Cape Cobra; too skinny and long and fast for a Puff Adder) cross the road in front of us, over to the other lane so we missed it. Taxi coming towards us saw it, and managed to move across to avoid it, but when I looked in the rear view mirror I could see brake lights from the five cars following him.
On the way back, we saw the remains. One more dead snake, that if the b*****ds had kept a decent following distance from each other they would have managed to avoid it. The first car did, maybe the second, but after that, no chance!!
Yeah, it makes me angry!
